2019-20 February Challenge Prompts and Rules
February Challenge! Goal: To push & stretch you as a creator to produce new works each day. Keep in mind that you can align the prompts to go with your concentration to allow process photos to your portfolio. Every day you will be creating a new artwork or adding to the one before. You will need to post your artwork each deadline by MIDNIGHT of that day to your blog Prizes at the end of this challenge in the following categories: 1. The artist(s) who got outside of their comfort zone the most! 2. The artist(s) who utilized the Principles of Design the best! 3. The artist(s) with the most thought provoking artwork! Single day entries are worth 10 points and two day projects are worth 20 points. If you post to the blog on time you will earn the points. If you miss a day you will miss the points. You can only be late ONE time from this challenge and must let me know ahead of time. The late piece must be turned in within 24 hours of the due date. You need to do the work, finish it, photograph and post.

Feb. 19 – Stranded on an Island with Three Things - (Rule of Thirds) (10)
Feb. 20 - Under Pressure (Movement) Mixed Media (10)
Feb. 21 - Wisdom (Proportion) (10)
Feb. 24 – Quiet Space, Color (Unity) (10)
Feb. 25-26 – Pattern (Repetition) Pen, Marker (20)
Feb. 27-28 – Process within your sketchbook of your concentration Process Outline (20)
