Advanced Pottery Students opening project titled: "Hōm". A piece that students made to meditate on what home means to them, in response to the Marshall Fire that took place on December 30, 2020 which destroyed hundreds of homes of our neighbors to the east. Students decided to to gift their project to Monarch High School, along with the poem "ashes and snow" written by a 9th grade Monarch student.

Raku - Spring 2022

Raku 2021...in person and SMOKY!

Opening project for Advanced Pottery Students- we celebrated students being back to in person learning by joining the "Hopeful Birds" project. Students made a bird for themselves, and a bird to share with our BHS community, which are displayed in the main lobby of the school. At the end of the semester, students will give away these birds to someone who has meant a lot to them over the last year. To learn more about this project: https://www.hopefulbirds.org/
