How TO Create your own AP Art blog Complete by
Steps:
1. Go to blogger.com or use a site you already have
2. Create a new blog
3. You need an email AND your display name/title (This should be your first name only and BHS AP Art 2018, example: bubba BHS AP ART 2018)
4. Customize your background, etc. if you like
5. Click on Create a New Post
6. Insert all your summer images and any pieces from first semester that you wish to consider for your AP Portfolio
7. Write under the photo/ images: Title, medium and dimensions
FINAL STEP: email me your blog name (the URL to get to your page) at [email protected]

28 Day February Challenge
Goals: To create the most works that you can use for Breadth and/or Quality. To push & stretch you as a creator to produce new works each day.
- Every day you will be creating a new artwork or adding to the one before.
- You will need to post your artwork each day by MIDNIGHT of that day to your blog
- Each day we’ll will look at the artwork(s) you created in the day(s) before
- Prizes at the end of this challenge in the following categories:
2. The artist(s) who utilized the 2D Design Principles the best!
3. The artist(s) with the most thought provoking OR controversial days of art!
- Each day is worth 15 points. (20 days x 15 = 300 points) if you post to the blog in time you will get the points. If you miss a day you will miss the points. You can only be late ONE time from this challenge, and that work must be turned in within 24 hours of the due date. You need to do the work, finish it, photograph and post.
- At the end of this project you will put your artworks into a visual Google Slides, Prezi, or PowerPoint presentation for evaluation of which works should/could go into Breadth/ Quality/Concentration. You will have one week to do this AFTER the end of the challenge.

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE 2019:
Feb. 1 - Still Life of your favorite things in your room (any medium)
Feb. 4 - Construct a sculpture of objects found in nature (refer to the art of Andy Goldsworthy)
Feb. 5 - Create an illustration with a limited color palette (refer to London illustrator Sophie Melissa - www.sophiemelissa.com)
Feb. 6 - Snow Day using watercolor
Feb. 7 - The aftermath of a great meal - create a story by including wrappers or plates, coffee stains, a crumpled napkin, a teabag, a cracked open fortune cookie with a message left on the table, etc.
Feb. 8 - Happy Little Accidents with any type of paint inspired by Bob Ross
Feb. 11 - Cubist self-portrait using acrylic or oil paint for 2D artists and sculpture for 3D artists (Refer to Picasso, Braque and Gris for inspiration)
Feb. 12 - Hindsight
Feb. 13 - View from a window
Feb. 14 - Love Language
Feb. 15 - Secret Space with an emphasis on creating varying textures
Feb. 18 - The contents in your glove box or backpack
Feb. 19 - Your element (fire, water, air, earth)
Feb. 20 - Wanderer
Feb. 21 - Nostalgia - black and white photo
Feb. 22 - Ritual
Feb. 25 - Innocence
Feb. 26 - Repetition (look at patterns, architecture, stacked cups, books, design)
Feb. 27 - Architecture - this could include a building, an architectural element or detail, a facade, etc.
Feb. 28 - Spring fever using mixed media
