Dr. Claudia LaStella is delighted to be teaching at Boulder High! She received her BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology with a major in painting and a minor in photography. This is her 29th year teaching art in BVSD and 4th at Boulder. She teaches Digital Arts, Photography and Animation. She received her MA in Art History from CU, passed her National Board certification and finished her Doctorate in Art Curriculum and Instruction. Claudia is mom to 2 Boulder High students and a practicing artist. Her preferred mediums are oil painting, mixed media, encaustic and photography. Claudia teaches Photography 1 - 4, The Art of Animation and Digital Arts and Design 1 - 3.
