Art Teacher: Dr. Melissa Lobpries
Some of My Art Pieces!
Art Teacher: Merry Wilson
What I Teach:
AP Art and Design, Portfolio Arts 1-4, Draw/Paint 1-4
Favorite Things:
Art- making, viewing, teaching, learning! Music- playing, singing, going to concerts
Spending time with my sweet daughter, Reading, Writing, Watching a great movie or show (most of the time it's the children's show "Bluey" and I'm not complaining:))
About Me:
I was born in Pennsylvania but have spent most of my life in the gorgeous state of Colorado.
I have a 5 year old daughter named Charlie and two kitties, Ocean and Salty:)
My degree is from Colorado State University where I studied Art Education. The program consists of a variety of Studio Art courses paired alonsgide Education and Art-Education specific courses-and of course, student teaching. My secondary student teaching experience was at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins. After 11 wonderful years of teaching grades 6-8 at Louisville Middle School in BVSD, I am thrilled to be working with all of the brilliant young artists at Boulder High School!
